‘Goanna and Emu eggs’ is inspired by a sacred rock site on Balnggarrawarra country that spans over multiple rock caves. Rare engraving of emu eggs and tracks, showing the local food source, as well as spears with small holes to sharpen the prongs. I included the goanna as another food source in the region but also as another animal of significance across Aboriginal culture that deserves celebrating.
