AUTHENTIC ABORIGINAL ART

Artist

Ellen McIvor

Connections to Country and Culture through Balnggarrawarra, Yarrabah and Woolgar QLD

Ellen deeply treasures memories from her childhood being surrounded by cultural values and traditional knowledge, always keen to sit close with her Elders - to listen and learn. Ellen is the fourth generation to pick up the paint brush and continue the artistic expression of Aboriginal culture. Honouring and inspired by  Balnggarrawarra rock art, her style can focus on animals, people, places, lore, lines and dots.

First public displaying her work at the biannual Laura Quinkan Dance Festival in 2021, Ellen has privately sold many artworks since. Now excited to share her work with the world and people of all backgrounds.
